Since Emma has a summer birthday we celebrated her half birthday at school in February. It is a BIG deal! She was so excited and had convinced herself that that she was actually turning 5, bless her heart! At her school they have a fun "birthday celebration" that starts with Emma telling her class about a poster we made. We included pictures from each of her birthdays along with some of her and her family.
They sing a cute song about how the earth moves around the sun each year. She got to "walk" around the sun 5 times. We were cracking up because Emma kept trying to speed around the sun before the song was up.
They sing another cute song about the air, earth, water, and sun as they create a little craft that represents them.
