Father's Day, Biking, etc.
How can you not just love this girl? These pictures are from forever ago, but more recently, today Ruby waved for the first time. It was so cute! And I think it made our soon to be new dad next door feel good since he was the recipient of the wave.
Emma and Jane have already made Ruby into a princess. She's got no choice.
My friend gave Jane a leotard and she was ecstatic. Jane wants to be just like Emma, which means she wants to do ballet.
That look on her face just makes me laugh.
Ruby is now only 4 lbs lighter than Jane.
Aunt Amy and the girls at the zoo.
Emma's favorite animal at our zoo is the zebra, check out her sweet shorts.
Grandpa Bill is always joking about chocolate covered brussel sprouts and I have been looking for a good excuse to prepare that delicacy for him...enter Father's Day 2011. I think he got a kick out of it.
We added chocolate covered strawberries into the mix too.
Emma and Jane got new bikes. In the last couple of weeks Emma mastered riding her bike without the training wheels.
Jane got the short genes like her mama, bless her heart, she can't reach the pedals.
We got a new table since we weren't all fitting at our previous table comfortably. Wahoo!
Hey, this blog has everything you do and don't want to know about Derek, Brooke, Emma, and Jane. We currently live in Idaho Falls, Idaho where Derek is working at the Idaho National Laboratory as an Auditor. He recently completed his degree in Accounting at ISU.
Brooke stopped working in August 2007 (bringing Emma to the office was not working anymore). Now she's just trying to be the "CEO" of our home. Emma is just loving every minute of life.
Well, Emma is essentially our life. We love this little girl! She was born on August 3rd 2006. She weighed 8 lbs, 2 ozs and was 20.5 inches long; kind of a big girl for a short mom. From the moment they let me hold her Emma was awake and aware; her eyes were wide open. Emma is definitely a little (or not so little) bundle of energy. She currently enjoys running, climbing, and is getting quite proficient with a spoon. Emma is a talker. Her favorite new sounds/words are weeeee, whoaaaah, me-me, and Emma. Well, I could go on and on about her but i'll save that for later.
