Summer Fun

These pictures are totally out of order, but oh well. Here is Derek at the Whipple campout. He was making animals out of rocks. I was impressed with his artistic skills.
JJ and Oliver. Oliver is 3 weeks older than Ruby. When they were tiny they both had red hair...Ruby lost her red hair and Oliver kept hers.
Ruby and Grandpa Bill.
Derek doing the family craft.
Jane zonked out in Aunt Heather's arms and then slept on the ground. She was so exhausted!
Love that little camper!
Derek and the girls went to the drive in to see "Cars 2" for Jane's half birthday. We felt like we needed to celebrate it since the poor child has her birthday two days before Christmas which is not fair, right? Oh, and we're trying to make sure she doesn't have middle child syndrome.
Happy 4th of July! Aren't my girls cute!
We had a ton of fun. Ruby and I miss out on a lot of fun, but we like chill at home. Derek took Emma and Jane to the parade where they got a bunch of candy.
Even Ruby and I made it to the river festivities with Derek and the girls.
Emma got to sit in a fire truck.
Not the best picture, but I had to document that Derek and the girls went to the fireworks too.
Derek, Emma, and Jane at a Chuckar's game. Apparently they made up a chant as they walked to the game which goes as follows: "where are we going? to the Chuckar's game, woo woo!" Jane sang that for about a month straight. She had been beggin to go to the "baseball" for a long time before Derek took her.
Whipple Family annual camp out by Heise. Which of course involved a pink cowgirl hat and cowgirl boots.
They had fun playing in the creek. We also had fun doing crafts with Emily. Derek made various things out of rocks which turned out really cool- a penguin, whale, and a turtle. When we asked Emma what she wanted to make she said "Dad." So grandma helped her make it. She loves that dad!
