Emma-Elaine turned 4 on August 3rd. We had so much fun. She is definitely a princess and I thought maybe she'd grow out of that or move on to something new by birthday #5 so...we embraced the whole princess thing and had a party!

She got to open one present before dad went to work, mainly so she had a Sleeping Beauty outfit to wear to the party.

Jane makes a pretty cute Cinderella.

Kayla came down to help out. She got Emma all gussied up for the party.

I love the cute looks Emma was giving all day. She was so excited for her birthday...it just couldn't come quick enough.

The friends begin to come. We even had our own knight in shining armour!

Kayla, Emma-Elaine, and Emma-Nicole.

We played "pin the crown on the princess." It was quite a hit.

And we decorated crowns.

Emma requested a cake with pink flowers.

The birthday girl post-cake.

After the party Emma opened the rest of mom and dad's gifts and we ended the day by going to cruise night at Dairy Queen for icecream.
We love this little Emma girl. Why do we love Emma so much?
She makes us laugh each day.
She keeps us on our toes.
She is so sensitive and helps remind us of what is most important.
She loves us and her little sister.
We could go on and on!
